Why are we giving our sensitive information away so easily?
Evaluating risk is very important. Risk events should be used to determine where vulnerabilities exist and the best approach to mitigating those vulnerabilities. We evaluate risks to viruses, sickness, how to protect sensitive information and what to put on social media or websites.

It is so good. And I like how you made it. Applicability to everything, Not just espionage. I can use it to protect my personal information. I can use it to protect my family. Personal
information, Just just understanding diseases,
I will kill you.
They will kill you.
You you want you honestly think everybody understands about all diseases and
everything they could do to try and keep themselves. Welcome to D o D. Secure. And today we're gonna have part three of our interview with Race Simcoe again. He is a motivational speaker with tons of security and mostly counterintelligence experience and our last couple podcasts. We've been talking to him about his program, defensive information, countering everything, and even now we're starting to talk about the everything part. And so we left last week off on her last podcast where he was. His presentations were motivating even young people into careers, protecting classified information. So he's had an impact on the world. And now we're talking about especially right now, we're talking about Corona virus and how we can use defensive information to protect us from that, you know, gather the information that you need make an intelligent decision based on that information and then go and developed countermeasures to that. Like in security world. We want to know who is trying to get our classified information. How are they trying to get it? And we need to make a determine a nation of how to protect that. Then this palm tells us that secret needs to be in a security container. But if there's excessive threat against that secret information, then we need to make sure that security containers somewhere hard to get to that there's alarm set in place, or whatever is needed to protect that classified information. Where diseases are concerned, Ray will tell us that we need to know what the diseases, how to prevent exposure to that disease or what we can do ourselves to prevent from getting sick when the disease is exposed to us. So I'm looking forward to hearing what he has to say. Next you work can with your home. You know, when I asked people and and I put my I go, So
how long should you wash your here and people you know, they throw out two minutes, whatever and and here's a simple rule you sing Happy birthday to me two time You use soap and you use and water. Okay, that's what you're doing And you sing Happy birthday to me silently Because
I do that
people go in the bathroom and then they just start screaming its top of their lungs. Happy birthday to me. But, uh, yeah, that's how long you're supposed to wash your hands
over. Goodness, that's buddy.
It And it's just amazing. So when you have all of these things and then you go to Dr everybody thinks that the doctors the greatest except there's only 12 graduated at the top of their class, no matter what medical school they ever went. So you need to be in charge of your own medical help, and you need to appreciate some things that just aren't gonna help you and not be afraid to question your doctor on things like if your doctor comes in to take care of you and they have washed their hands in front of you, you need to say, Hey, do me a favor, Doc. I'm not, you know, germophobe or anything, But can you do your do me a favor and wash your hands what we go into checking me out.
But most people wouldn't do that because they don't want to embarrass himself. And, you know, it's just like see death. C diff is something that is really dangerous. It's capital seed, period capital D I F f. That's all you got put in the Google. And I want you to read about Siegel. It'll scare the crap out of you and you go to a hospital. You're not aware. See, death. Your loved one can get it, and it is just absolutely horrible. So I bring these things and I tell people what they need to do about it. How you kill, See this bacteria? I want people to be safe, and I want every aspect of them. I want them all to understand that this is for everybody. Safety. I care about you and your family. And, uh, it's just amazing, you know, Corona virus. Let's take aspirin. Everybody's all up in arms. And to a degree, it's a concern. No ancestor, but that's about it. I'm not gonna downplay it every year in this country. Since 1 October of 2019 Jeff, we've had 242,400 Americans die From who? Well, I flew. Yeah, 2400. There's 2.5 million have been infected. 2.5 million. And all the people who show up with flew to the office because they don't want to take their sick days. They want to savor when they can play. They're putting people in the in jeopardy. There have been a cz many as 10 20,000 people die in a year in America from the flu.
That is a big people.
Never think about it.
Something preventable, something treatable,
right? But you you know, you have to do things to try
and help yourself, right? Yeah.
And you know, no. Nobody seems to care. So 25 2400 people died in America from the flu since October. But we're all concerned about the Corona virus, right? Because that's what the news is talking about.
Yes, that's right. I
just want to get wood real with people, you know,
So Defense ii
telling me things
defense information can bring everything. And that is everything that you act.
That's a new thing for dykes. Yes,
had to earn profit. I just couldn't stick with espionage because it was more than that. I mean, economic espionage, just tearing us up when you talk about, you know, proprietary information, sensitive information, All this other stuff that's out there, we're losing it all.
It's coming yet It's coming out quicker than it goes in. It is like,
you know, like I tell people when I do like Thio research and development places. Uh, I go if you don't. Research, development, testing and evaluation You are number one target, right? Need to know what you're doing. So what's one of the dumbest things we d'oh the websites for each one of these organizations? I do not know why we have.
always ask people. They said, Do you sell this stuff to your neighbors?
know, they have submarines up in Rhode Island. I said to you, so make your submarines to your neighbors. You have it all on your website. I just can't figure out why you got all this information about your submarine
somewhere. So you must be some of them here.
Yeah. And you know when I do that, they hate me for it. Yeah. You know, if we here's the key if we're going to spend so much money on getting people. Claire, if we're gonna have Gates, guards, guns and you can't have access to that, you're not allowed on that base unless you have of the clearance or the right to be there. Then why don't we put it on the website centered around the world?
Okay. Okay. I think it's right. I just need somebody to tell me and why we do it.
Yeah, we want to protect it. Yet we make it hard to detect by projecting it,
You know, you go. One of the facilities we have, they go. This is what we do here and they listed on. And then if you want more information, click on this. You gonna open it up and it'll give you names? Tell you everything I'm going. Why are we doing this?
You make it toc. Yet
every time there's a convenience, we have a scared awake. That's all there is to it. Every time you make a job easier, you're creating a security problem. And it is just mind boggling to me. So how vulnerable are we? Well, just look at China. Look how far. They've come in such a short period of time. Right now they're talking about your passenger. Yeah, and you know, Russia everything. People just they don't pay attention. This is important. If it wasn't important, you wouldn't have a clearance you wouldn't have access to. You need to stop acting like it's no big deal. His big deal
And you know, it just I can't stress this enough. When I talk, I bring up all the recent spy cases. I mean, you know, there's more spy cases you shake a stick at. Okay, this is this is another thing. It just hit me. Yeah, the parking, the shooting in Florida,
Oh, they have made so many improvements since people died. If they would have actually done what they needed to do to begin with, it wouldn't have died. I am sick and tired of people having to die before we do anything about it. All of a sudden, after people are dead and we have all these memorials and everybody's sad and they're asking stupid questions. Well, how do you feel then? We find money. Why can't we find money before we know what we need? to do to protect do it. Stop screwing around. Stop acting like, you know, like the sheriff that was there before and the resource officer that wouldn't go into the building. He
actually given accommodation couple years earlier that he was the resource officer of the year. So you know what awards mean
Way. Have another great sponsor and his name is run sixties and hey sponsors us under the security clearance defense lawyer dot com website and Iran consultant. All areas of security clearance concerned. He could be reached by phone and 2563983316 or through their website I gave earlier Security clearance defense lawyer dot com Way. Have questions or concerns about your security clearance application or during the time that you have a clearance and are under review. Call run. He's available for you. 2563983316 Nothing because when it counted, not
me saying it. Everybody's saying it right, Sheriff. No longer the sheriff there in those 17 kids and teachers, they're not there either, right? So that's how important security is. And the thing is, when somebody makes a report we have to follow up on. How many times have we heard? Well, there was a report made a month ago, but nobody acted. It got lost in the system. You can't get lost in the system. People have to be accountable.
And I think you owe it to the person who reported to at least give them a status of it's being worked out. Because, um, my my bank account was hacked and I followed a report with all the right people, and I could not get an answer. And I think I know the answer. They didn't research that. They just reimburse me and want me to go away,
All right? Oh, if you know how bad the banks were hacked, you put your money underneath your butt near mattress.
You're right. The only
thing that makes you feel better is you got reimbursed.
know where banks have covered it up to $250,000. And, uh, I mean, you know, we try and do things like controlled unclassified information. We come up with this and now we have to control unclassified, and we can't control classified information from the insider spy. The insiders by staring us up. Nobody wants to say anything. You know what? If I say something and it's wrong, I've ruined their lives. No, you haven't. Not even close. Stop it. We have things that we need to do. You know, there's people. Don't even understand why we're having the problems we're having today because they don't read. They don't understand history. If you don't understand history, you repeat the bad history. So when you talk about all the election problems that we had, do you know there is no one alive today At any time in our American history that could say we ever had an honest election.
think about it.
How do you prove we ever had an honest election?
because somebody said so, right? And if we don't have an honest one is because somebody said so
because the right person want
anything. Yeah. You know, we don't know anything. Absolutely nothing. So stop it. This this. You know, we had foreign interest in the late nineties. It was okay for China to put money into it. There was people don't that time nobody cared. One a big nail. And we're getting all wrapped around the axle and acting like, Oh, this is just the worst thing since canned beer
defense information Countering everything includes, um, you've got to be aware that if there's an opportunity to cheat or steal or lie or whatever it can happen, so let's put in counter measures in place to prevent that from happening. Let's be aware of it. We'll need to get
of all we need to
be intelligent. That's absolutely right.
I got it. I got a line. Did I always tell people alive? Doesn't become truth wrong, doesn't become right and evil doesn't become good just because it's accepted by a majority.
That's that's good advice It? Yep.
Yeah, it just doesn't. You know, Ally will go around the world three times for the truth, even opens the door. Inish is absolutely disgusting. And, you know, people like us who have been in the military and, you know, we we've all made sacrifices with our families, whatever it woz because we believe this is what we were doing. And I don't ever want America to be anything but what America is and you know, the constitution and everything. People talking about this and that it's outdated. The whole nine yards? No, it's the only thing that protects the people. And we be the people, right?
It's consistent. That's always true. That's right,
you know, And this is This is important to me. It is the future. And, you know, people just don't understand anything. You ever heard of Saul Alinsky?
Okay. Did you ever read his book Rules for Radicals?
I did not read that book. That's probably where I heard of him. But I need to write that down. Okay?
Yes, you do. Everybody does. Because it explains what. And, uh, there's there's a page that I actually show sometimes in my briefing, if I think the audience can handle it and it is just so spot on with everything that is happening in one of his pages on Rules of Radicals says, don't hesitate to tell Nice, but make sure they can't be easily found out.
Create a sense of entitlement by making promises that cannot be delivered and then used. The resulting frustration is a weapon to mobilize people in the action.
This person knows human behavior.
Oh, my God. Now he's been dead. A number of decades. We'll see. They always I don't say they always bring it up Every now and then somebody lose a 1,000,000 bring it up. And then everybody else just glosses over it like we don't want again. But there I have so much that would love to say My last breathing has to be video because I'll only be able to do it one time. And I'm just gonna lay it all that I am sick and tired of the crap. You do what's right.
Do what? Stop
this polarization, Demonization in deception. We have the greatest country in the world. You want to picket NIT pick things. We have done a lot of bad things, but I can honestly say we have always made corrections or attempted to make corrections in some corrections, take longer than others. But we have always tried. We've never captured another land and made it our own. We have been nothing but help, and for everything that's being said is just so wrong. They're talking to a crowd of people that I just don't know, say, and it's not their fault. They don't know they were never taught. So, uh, we got some problems. And this is how we need to keep America secure. We got to know everything. Freedom is lost from an uninterested, uninformed and uninvolved people.
And people need to be Oh, talk about you. People need to continually be challenged for the pursuit of truth challenged to learn what our history is and challenge to be uncomfortable,
right? I mean, you know the truth. How do I look? All right. You know, your hair's kind of messed up. Nobody was here. The truth. Yeah. I always tell people, you know,
don't ask about doing it right. People
don't talk about politics. Oh, my God. You know, one of the penalties for participant for refusing to participate in politics is you end
up being governed by your inferiors. Yeah, that's a good point. Yeah, right. And that was said by Plato. I like to think a minute to thank our sponsors. If it wasn't for them, we could not do this podcast. And we have some great sponsors on this show, and I'd like to recognize them one by one. So our 1st 1 I'd like to recognize our friends at Security First and associates. They provide facility security Officer and si es eso. Consulting and training service is, and they realize that hiring your full time FSO can be expensive. But you know a less expensive alternative is to use their managed security service's. Their team of security professionals can help minimize risk by assisting with many vital service is for fingerprinting and background checks to security. Vulnerability assessments done by the government also offer J past training, and if you don't see the service is that you need, just ask them and these Air Service is that are normally provided for clear defense contractors. So if you're looking for security clearances or to get your facility clearance or Fiori, have your facility clearance Security First Associates are the ones to call. They can be reached at Security first associates dot com or 4433257890 But also, like Thio, mention a book that we have coming out at Red Bike Publishing and is tentatively titled The Insider's Guide to Security Clearances. And again, this is for those who were seeking to get their security clearance and um, for those businesses who want to be clear. Defense contractors government can provide facility security clearances and personnel security clearances on this book walks you through that process. If you already have a facility security clearance and you're hiring cleared employees, take a look at another book called Do You D Security Clearances in Contracts Guidebook. It's another book published by Red Bite Publishing, and it tells you how to set up your company and be prepared to protect classified. Both can be found at www dot red bike publishing dot com. Remember you put in New York. Everybody
acts like, Oh, well, we've got to bring everything up to date Waternoose Modern at the whole nine yards. No, Knock it off.
Knock it off. Everything's good.
Yeah, you know, people go. Well, How were your holidays? I said I'm American. They were great.
They were awesome.
You're kidding me Were black and I just want to keep it going.
I always tell everybody, you know. Listen, I know I paint another picture sometimes, but I say if if we don't have a secret today, every secrets been compromised. If we start today with a different attitude towards security, give this information. Don't care what you do on your website. Just change the attitude towards protecting what we need to protect, to give our military every advantage so that nobody wants to take us on in the war. And we don't have to prove how big a bad we are. And we don't have to bring soldiers back in the box, right? Can we go back?
Can we stay cutting edge?
Yeah, you know, it's like there's no bigger insult to the military than for them to be killed with our stolen technology
and can't remember who said it. But, you know, the philosophy of the Army was well expressed. I just I'm sorry, Cameron, who said this? But they said there is no need for a fair fight. We do not want a fair fight. We want to have overmatched capability against all of our enemies. And you can't do that leaking out everything
right? You can't. You know, I still talk about Opsec. There's certain things that you just don't have any right to tell anybody anything. You just have to be aware in this in this day
age with your head on a pivot, aware of your surroundings at all times. When you come in my briefings, I teach you where to stand And foreign elevators. They teach you what to do. I try and teach. I try and keep you safe. I try and tell you that one of the things you make sure you locate is Foreign Embassy in a foreign country, you know, I go out to protect America. That's that's the job I gave myself.
you know, it didn't start out that way, but it's ended up that way.
So So how do people what's the best way for people to contact if they want your information or want to get one of your briefings?
All they gotta do is just go to the website like you gave itto, uh, recent co dot com and there's a thing on there and it says, request a briefing and then, uh, you just fill that out and it gets to be, and then I make a determination.
Excellent. Well, um, I'm sat here while you were talking. Sometimes I was silent because I am typing things in that you've shared with us today. I'm definitely gonna have to listen to it again and and get some more information. I even had the C diff website up. And, man, that is disturbing. Um, so So we appreciate defense information, countering everything to protect you as you mentioned, to protect Americans overseas, to protect Americans from any threat that may come up, Not just espionage. Okay, well,
because you don't want to become a kidnap victim, you don't want to become anything. You don't want to be the news. That's what you don't want to be. And you know, you got to do things to help yourself. And if you have a clearance and you have a wonderful job like that, you need do everything you can to protect that information, that technology, whatever it is that you're working on from going to people that shouldn't have it, give us the edge. It's us. And people kind of forget simple thing that if we have stuff that other people want, it's not that we won't give it to him. But we'll have conditions. It's like it makes life easier for everybody. It gives us a card to play. They have a card to play and everything's even kill. But the worst thing to do is actually think that you have some type of advantage and you find out a little too late that you don't. And then we start burying people, all right? And I don't want that. I don't want that. I still live with the Addams every day,
and I can tell that Yeah, I could tell you care for people and that you want what's best for them, and you're doing everything you can to make it best for them.
I did. And you know, it's just one of those things. Like I tell people, seriously, when you come to my briefing, I got to keep you awake. I gotta make sure that you hear me. And when I find is that the people who listen t longer or come to my briefings more people who hate me because they want to go back, You know what he's saying. Do you know what? He's
taking notes for the wrong reasons. And then
I have people go. Well, you know, you need to start. You need to take this out. You need to do this over there. I'm going. Yeah. Okay. Because you've done it. Okay,
try and keep somebody's attention for two hours. One of the best compliments I ever get from people when they say And when I'm done, they come up the man to go. I can't believe I sat there for two hours.
I mean, the five year old, right? Yeah. That's amazing.
Oh, I know. But now he could have just sat there. Somebody called because he's afraid
Movie? Oh, you know, it's fine. Whatever it
is, I hope something got through. You know, I have every reason to believe it. People are gonna walk away with something then, uh, and every time they see that dice, they're gonna think about me and you know I can't die. And many times I've been refrigerated. But that's not going to stop me.
No, don't let stop you. We need you out here and
now it's like somebody's got to do it, you know, people go. So, you know, I I got connections with somebody. It's gonna put you on the radio show in all this. Another not They're not gonna put me on the radio. I'm not gonna be that expert because I'm not controlled.
Oh, yeah, right. Yeah. It'll never make it on that and fight
excited. I hear everything I say. I get excited just because I know more than I want to know. And it's just like, Oh, my goodness. So I go shirt. Okay, fine. If they get in touch with me and we'll see what we can do It never happened never
to say, Ray, do you know what you just said? Of course I know what I just said. I said it on purpose.
Yeah, Yeah. Oh, my God. Yeah. I mean, you know, I do what I call entertainment. I give you information and attainment type fashion, because if you and I've seen this before, people go, Well, I could do what you do. Okay, That's cool. So they start off like a ball of fire five minutes or on top of everything, six minutes, they start losing a little bit of energy, and then the next thing you know, they drove, try and keep the energy level up for two hours.
Right? Kids, don't try this at home. It takes a professional to do that
right? All right. And, uh, let me know how tough it is, right? And it's just like, you know, the You just gotta believe yet. And one of my favorite lines is, uh, mercy to the guilty cruelty to the list,
right? Because you are setting a standard in lowering morale. And for all the people trying to do right in your
guilty clothing to the innocent.
That is absolutely right. That's a
great point. Yeah, And that was That was said by an economist, 17 59. Well, Adam Smith. Yeah, well, I know it's amazing.
You're his story.
Anything? Yeah, we have to be. I mean, we act like we're just doing things that nobody's ever done this. Well, we're just doing them differently. But, I mean, you know, listen, when we first became a country, we stole everything from any country we could get our hands on. We had nothing, right, you know. So hey, it's just the way that things are. But there's some things we need to make more of an effort to try and protect
nothing. We just
need to make more of an effort.
Nothing's new. That's what King Solomon said. It's the truth
for people with clearances. They need to be aware that Trusted Workforce 2.0, it's a new program for Defense, Counterintelligence and Security Agency, the new agency that was formed out of the SS
trusted program. It ISS very important that they understand the trusted workforce two point. Oh, because it's going to affect anything, every one of them. And this is how I try and bring the latest information to People need to know.
Well, we appreciate you bringing the information to our podcast and the door's open any time you want to come back in talk about eighties, um, opsec or Cold War opsec versus Upset today or or that very last presentation that you want to give you just let me know. Yeah, e that
last one even scared.
